A Taste of Southern Leyte: Canigao Island, Lets dip in

A trip in Leyte wouldn't be complete without a beach trip.  Leyte is blessed to have pristine white sand beaches yet to be vastly discovered and flocked of tourists.  Downside is you just have to burn hours to reach those shorelines which can be met with good roads now and what's a great achievement without hardwork.  Went there with the fam bam coming from Tacloban.  Bought food along the way.  Nap a little for additional energy to explore the island.

When you get fascinated with Singapore

We left Kuala Lumpur and head on to the southern part of the region, Singapore.  We did a dual purpose stint of sleeping and traveling to another city via the night bus.  Saved us a night of accommodation.  Pack light.  As much as possible if you could only have a backpack and a day bag to avoid the hassle and safety of your stuff.

DAY 1 AT SINGAPORE

Earlier, the conductor gave us disembarkation cards for us to fill up.  Since it was late, I just filled it up absent mindedly.  Later I read that we should wrote it on print (did this) and on either black or blue ink.  Well what we had is a green inked pen, which I didn’t bother to rewrite.  Wrong turn here, during our line up to the immigration officer.  She asked to rewrite it on either blue or black.  So much for that impression.  Then she checked my passport and discovered that it’s my first time entering Singapore.  I answered yes for that and she told the two of us to follow her inside the room.  Poker face I followed but deep inside cursing why it happened.  I can feel my heartbeat audible because of this.  Followed her in, then another officer asked for our fingerprints, chatted with us nicely and welcomed us to Singapore.  She then stamped our passports and we’re good to go.  Whew.  For the first time, I was wary of entering a new country for a possible refusal.  The bus that we rode earlier left us but I’ve read that if it happens just ride the next bus.  The next bus is a double decker one, we asked the driver if we can ride with them.  Told us we can rode the upper deck.  We met other Filipinos also traveling from Kuala Lumpur then Singapore.  Some as family, others as a group.  Few minutes after then we are at our last stop, Golden Mile Complex.  We alight the bus, still completely pitch black.  We managed to know which way to Bugis area through the routes posted nearby.

Glimpse of Kuala Lumpur

We got to spent 2 days in Kuala Lumpur before heading to our next destination.

DAY 1 KUALA LUMPUR

When in a new place, explore.

We got the last flight bound for Kuala Lumpur.  Bring a jacket or blanket and catch some sleep up in the air.  It can be very cold inside the plane.  With an eye mask, try to sleep on most of the flight; it may give you more than 3 hour sleep, if you’re lucky.

Arrived at KLIA 2 past midnight the next day.  There’s a tourist kiosk at the arrival area which you can get a tourist map.  Explored the KLIA2 a bit, I was having a hyperacidity.  So much for a new place.  Was able to buy some gaviscon at the convenience store, and the pain subsided mid-morning L.  There are wash rooms where you can freshen up in the upper floors.  We stayed at McDonalds for very early breakfast, to kill time, to snooze a bit and to kill my stomach ache.  There are also Starbucks and other coffee shops on the upper floors.  Mobile shops are at the area after arrival, we contemplated on buying a local sim card for our net access.  Decided on not getting one, we’ll be here for 2 days only.

Backpacking for 6 Days!: Singapore-Kuala Lumpur-Indonesia

I always learn something new about myself each time I travel, either good or bad.

Aside from the exciting feeling of being in a new place, learning about life outside your daily life makes you see it on a new perspective every travel.

Wanted to tour out of country and set aside my #PinasMuna wandering mind, I was able to score promo tickets last January that fitted the "long weekend" last February, with my travel buddy.  Well, we filed some VL for this 6-day tour, so much for the 8-5 day jobs.

We usually prepare our DIY itinerary on our own so research of the go to places, what to eat and what to do and don’ts are a must.  So it's like, doing your full-time job, the hectic one, at day then the itinerary at night. lol As much as possible we travel on a shoestring budget but not eliminating comfort and safety.

Thoughts of traveling on a new place may give stress to one mostly if you are not familiar with the area.  Giving some tips I learned through this and my other travels, is what I can share.  I have been in your shoes, so I relate on those bugging inside you.

For out of country destinations, spend money on their currencies or by USD will be the scenario, so have that peso exchanged.  You may have it converted locally before you fly out (which I prefer).  You can reserve your
I am back on track. Am I? Hope so. :)) Doing the things I should have done a year back, if not with insecurities, laziness and hopelessness hit me hard.  I'm doing some baby steps on this.  I have done the few ones before, but this time is really different -- but still I'm crossing fingers for me to succeed.  I have started this, I need to see the end.

To my listeners back then.  Keep in touch here again too :)

You may say I'm a dreamer

Aren't we all are?

I'm back ... at last?  I am sketching for a fee.  That fee will go a long way in helping one dear friend who might lost her sight (please not) if she doesn't undergo certain treatments for it ASAP.  I'm knocking on your hearts, with just a few hundreds of peso to spare I can sketch you in return.  Just send me PM or comment here. Will be greatly appreciated.

Please?

Normal days. Normal people. Normal mind. Normal work schedule. -- says no creative people ever.
almost lover

your fingertips across my skin
the palm trees swaying in the wind

in my chairs

you sang me spanish lullaby
the sweetest sadness in your eyes
clever trick

i never wanna see you unhappy
i thought you want the same
for me

goodbye my almost lover
goodbye my hopeless dream
i'm trying not to think about you
can't you just let me be

so long my luckless romance
my back is turned on u

should i known you'd bring me heartache
almost lover always do

we walk along a crowded street
you took my hand and dance with me
images

and when u left u kiss my lips
you told me you'll never never forget these images
no ....

i never wanna see u unhappy
i thought u were the same for me

goodbye my almost lover
goodbye my hopeless dream
i'm trying not to think about u
can't u just let me be

so long my luckless romance
my back is turned on u
should i known u'd bring me heartache
almost lovers always do

i cannot go to the ocean
i cannot drive the streets at night
i cannot wake up in the morning without u on my mind
